Gonzalo came over and was working in the garden when my gardener came over to cut the grass. I guess my gardener, Juan, was wondering why someone else was working in the garden though he didn’t say anything. The reason why I don’t have Juan doing the weeding is because he wants too much money for the work plus he doesn’t do a good job. However ever since he started the work that I have him do is cutting the grass, so he isn’t out any money. Now that I have him coming once a week he gets more money.

On the internet I tried to pay the advertisement for my house on a website. This was the website that I got all the info and pictures up but in order for it to go public I have to pay. I checked what I had recorded of the address my bank has and used that and it didn’t work. then I went to my bank’s website, as I have online banking, and saw that there is no place where you can view the current info they have on you. So what I must have recorded came from a conversation that I had with the bank on the phone some time ago.

Now it looks like I’m stuck in the mud. This website is the best opportunity for me to advertise the house. The newspaper cost me $30 for one day and it only brought in two calls with only one couple taking a look at it. Richard had told me about this website and this is where be bought a property and another that he’s interested in.

Since I can’t get my page up on this website, I have very, very limited opportunity in selling the house. You may remember of the Jerk of a realtor who said ‘screw you’? So I’m thinking the only way to get the property sold is to go back to Cyprus first, then sort things out with my bank and have Matt act as the agent with my lawyer having Power of Attorney (which she did when my other property was sold when I was in Cyprus).

My one last try will be to call my bank and see what address they have for me and see if there is any other problem with why my card is not taken. If this doesn’t work I’ll have no choice but to go back to Cyprus first. Jayne doesn’t like this, and I agree with her, as it’s better to be here to show the house to buyers. But if the house can’t even be listed on this popular website, how can I sell it? I certainly don’t want to sell it after Ecuador goes off the dollar and changes to some currency of their own. Then I’d be paid in something worthless and also have trouble taking the money out of the country – as you can be sure there will be some sort of currency control. Also, even if I do get paid in dollars, it could drop a lot more.
