They Stole Again!

Marcos showed up with one worker today. It was about 9.00am. I told him that there was no need to work here. I paid the one worker the two days that he did work and I paid Marcos the two days he was here on the second week of work.

This is the person we suspect stole the money from Jayne’s handbag.

He had no objections of not working here anymore - and indication that he had stolen from us.

Then when I was getting the money and the time sheet to show him (before I paid him) the worker packed up the clothes that were left behind – this included the clothes of the other worker. I was there when he first started to pack up and I saw him put it in his backpack.

When they left I noticed that two spatulas were missing.

Stealing again!!!

One was a big one that I bought when we went to the store together.

He asked about paying him for the other guy who didn’t show up (the good worker). I said no, but I would pay him when he comes. Just have him call me to pick up the money. I’m sure if I paid him money he would say to the other guy that I didn’t pay him.

He said that the other worker is on a job.

I told Marcos that he didn’t show up all of last week and the last week he did work was only two days.

It was only 10 minutes later that the good worker showed up. We wanted this guy to show up as he is honest (so far) and is a good worker. We plan to have him for painting the house. He didn’t see the other two, which is good. So, we told him what color paint we need. Also, I paid him for the three days that he worked – which he was happy to get.

We also told him of Marcos stealing money and that is why we don’t want him here. Also that Marcos will not work for you anymore and will not get any recommendations. So, Juan will be here tomorrow to buy the paint and start work. He said he’ll also do the tiling on the roof (over the chova that was laid down.

Jayne and I went to the mall where we had something to eat. I had my computer there to use their wireless internet. We also had to do food shopping as this was not done during the weekend when we usually shop.

I asked the manager what internet provider he uses at the restaurant. He gave me the name and the phone number. He said he has a different provider for his home and has a good connection. He gave me that name and phone number.

This is great!

I hope to find out what each company has, if they have service here and what speed they have. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get good connection here. this is needed for the work I plan to do on the internet.
